Does Netflix have too many shows? | Nope, Sorry

TV Guide is taking over Nope, Sorry this week. Jeff debates Senior Editor Sadie Gennis over Netflix overkill, whether or not cable is a thing worth having and, most importantly, which Hollywood Chris is the best Chris.

Check out our episode about Detective Pikachu vs. Toy Story 4:

And last week’s episode about whether or not anyone needs the PlayStation Classic:

Not enough shows or movies. Need more and better. And also, why isn't Kill La Kill in English??!! Only English subtitles option?!? The heck?! Nonsense. These are my issues with Netflix.

The only good thing for cable or sat tv, is my grandparents they just want tv on in the background they dont want no fancy smart tv or internet. They just want something to watch and access to sports easy

Edit: Nice not-very-stealthy ad for Hulu.
No, Sadie is entirely correct about Netflix. They need as much content as they can get.
Anyone complaining is doing so because of FOMO. We have more and more options for entertainment and finite time.

Sorry Sadie,Myers the issue….CBS doesn't have shows on Hulu, unless purchase CBS All Access, which is just more money$$$$ all those streaming platforms add up, might as well have cable/satellite at that point!
When Disney launches there service, all Disney/abc shows are off Netflix & possibly Hulu, which means another service. Again, might as well buy cable service as add up all those streaming services & add-ons & see what cost it

Saying Netflix has too many shows is like saying, we have too much oxygen.
That said, wish they didn't get rid of shows that they used to have……as long as they bring them back, would make them STAND OUT! From other platforms…..

Some Netflix series seem poorly made and rushed in my opinion. there are a few gems though.

Been saying it for awhile. Way too many originals. They have some good ones but there's only a few that interest me. They need to stop losing good network shows

I'd make a similar case for Evans, but hard to argue with Sadie on that one.

Basically Netflix is just one of those streaming things where people watch movies and tv shows
