It's a pretty stupid sounding name. Too many 'X's. I had the same issue with the Xbox One X.

Black Panther in the comics predates Blade by 7 years. Blade was first in film only.

Why does iPhone X not have split screen capability like iPhone 8 Plus?

The name is whatever. It’ll be so somewhat of an annoyance for tech reviewers I suppose. Im more interested in the value and improvements they’ve made. My iPhone 8 plus has been solid so i don’t see myself making any purchases. I still don’t have one of their watches, maybe that will be something to consider

Softwaring naming conventions are very clean. I imagine some tech companies have difficulty coming up with a product name that both is clear in what it does to the consumer, but also not so specific as to alienate people who dont consider themselves "techy". For example my partner gets uncomfortable talking "tech" when there are too many keywords he doesnt understand. Xs and max are both words most people can pronounce and understand, which is a big project on its own. Its like finding out that someone pronounces a word differently, and wondering who had the right pronounciation, and whether or not you need to conform with their way of pronouncing it before you have to say it again.
