It's funny how they don't test POCKETS. HOW YOU PUT THEM IN AND OUT OF YOUR POCKET WITH DIFFERENT MATERIALS.

It's probably more stronger but more scratchable. Like my s9+ that has a tech 21 case and it has scratches on the screen.

Last year…. Gorilla glass 5 claimed to be the hardest….. but still a lot of smarphones cracked easily, and scratch easily…..

So what new story you are going to give us…. that makes us believe AGAIN this is the hardest glass….?

    But its not

I don't really care anymore about this gorilla glass. It had been 5 generation but still it's breakable by just dropping from few meters.

Ehh, still not good enough. Still too fragile compared to the gen1 and gen2 cell phones.

I feel like Corning is paying for all of this coverage. Gorilla Glass 5 sucked for scratch resistance. Seems like they’re only focused on impact.

Well my note 5 (corning gorilla glass 4 I think) cracked just after one fall.. so yeah I guess real life situation and environment is different from tests conducted in a lab.

There are companies that need phones to be fragile, in order to sell more. And others need to sell tempered glass …
