New Beyond Burger gets even closer to the real thing

In the race with rival Impossible Foods, no detail is too small for Beyond Meats. Even the Beyond Burger’s plant fats have been revised to look more like fat and gristle.

Trying Burger King’s Impossible Whopper:

Impossible Burger now impossibly close to the real thing:

I tasted a lab-grown chicken nugget:

I cannot wait to try this burger! Not sure when it’s gonna hit the UK market… I know Burger King is bringing it out first, but I still can’t find any dates…

Jesus, this is the WORST REPORTER EVER!!!! "Real people try tasting …" WTF? No, fake people are trying the freaking plant meat, genius. "Oh so if you mix blue dye and…it makes red or brown?" Usually, that's what happens when you mix colors. What is wrong with this guy?

He’s not great a reporting on food matters. This content needs a different reporter.

Before your eyes glaze-over from being hypnotized with subliminal cravings originating from the hardcore press drive for this genetically altered mish-mash… realize it is not about your future health (or lack thereof). This is solely about DRIVING UP ITS
STOCKS & SHARES! Better hope they invent some anti-cancer pills, you may need them after 10 years of eating this Soylent Gray.

Honestly, do not trust these genentically engineered pea protein and canola oil smoothie burgers. Even typing that is a mouthful

I honestly get scared when companies "improve" something amazing. I've had little to no experience where it's actually been better in my opinion. Hoping they didn't just ruin it for me.

Stop promoting fake food that will destroy the health of America. Promote this more and we will make it a mission to make CNET laughed at as fake news.

Beyond is not even close to impossible. I tried these at restaurants and a pack from the store and this is not as good as you think

Cooley it's very good to see you doing other tech vids. A throw back to when you were just starting out at cnet. I totally enjoy your car and check the tech reviews. But I'm an old school cnet fan of the late 90s and early 2k.
