I use my iPhone, iPad Pro, and Note 8 daily, even I can see this is biased towards Apple. PLEASE CNET find someone else to review Samsung devices. Look how many dislikes you have CNET.

I think CNET reviewers use iPhones, because there reviews domehow end up sounding bias. They dont relly understand the functionality of the Spen. You can't really talk about something if you only use for a couple of hours, or days. I think those of us who've owned the Note since the first one really get it. My opinion.

These sticking points still make the note 9 better than Apple. Jesus…. Apple doesn't have finger print sensor, camera is barely comparable (the scene optimizer works within a half second) , and is more expensive when you match it with the 128gb storage.

Not a single other tech reviewer said the AI enhancement in the camera was slow. Sure its not a big feature but no one has mentioned that it was slow. And 5G?? we arent going to have 5G for a good while, I haven't even seen a single thing about 5G besides that Motorola Add-on nonsense. Its not a make or break for the phone or any phone really. I also dont understand whats the problem with most of these tech reviewers. The Note has lots of storage also expendable: 128 to 512 to 1 terabyte!, sterio speakers, lots of ram 6-8GB HELLO 8GB, big battery, headphone jack, great design, great screen, features, customizations, wireless charging, fast charging, i68 certified, etc etc etc etc. Samsung gave it all, everything everyone is always asking for a single phone to have and youre downplaying it? Really?? The only real thing you can knock of the Note 9 for is needing faster updates. Even that is minor depending on who you are. Yea its pricy but no one gave Apple shit for it.
    Cnet get it together 😒

You nailed it by saying "the Note 9 is an investment phone something you want to hold on for a few years". I think the same should've been said of the $1k iPhone X. Also most people won't care about the 5G speeds. Considering the 5G speed plans will be priced accordingly at least for a year until the dust settles. Pricef accordingly means not cheap Can't wait for the beast to arrive sooner!

the note 9 has 3 major features: the battery, the storage, and the S pen. Well summarized! I am not sure whether only enthusiasts would continue to use the S pen in a long run, but I would totally agree that the $1000 cost makes this an investment phone.

hypocrite woman. I bet she is using iPhone X and criticizing Note 9 for the same price which gives more features than iPhone X.

I cant wait for her review on the new iPhone. "She gonna be like wow this is the best one yet" Even tho the camera is the same as last year I "feel like it takes way better photos" And I just love how they made the camera bump more bigger this time. "This new iPhone for 2,000 dollars is the best investment anyone can make. 😁

Personally, I've always liked Jessica's reviews. And while it did SEEM like this review was a little …. critical … of the Note 9's price, I believe that overall, she liked the phone, she just could NOT seem to justify the phone, with its complete package offering, to its asking the price. Now, (cr)Apple can get away with charging a $1000 for its iPhone X 'cause its the ONLY phone in the IOS universe that has all the features it has. That doesn't mean the phone is better than the Note 9 (its not, deal with it iSheep), its just that it CAN "justify" its price. However, in the Android universe, where you can get FANTASTIC, flagship quality phones for $500, asking people to fork out double that seems almost blasphemous to some. Jessica probably represents that "some". Personally, I own a Note 8 and I've pre-ordered the Note 9 512 GB phone ('cause price ISNT what motivates my decision to buy a phone).

I like when people don't do their research, first of all the galaxy Note 8 started at $1000 so Apple had to make theirs overpriced to make it seem like it was still competitive (like how all movie prices are the same at movie theaters), so you should compare the spec bumps to the Note 8 instead of the S9+ because some smartphones are made for different people with different lifestyles, the finger print sensor is still high because the entire middle of the phone is used for the battery (I know, some phones aren't hollow) and lastly I did not see you use the SPen anywhere in this video except for the part with the camera feature, you might as well be comparing the Galaxy S9+.

Did she start the video off by questioning the price of the phone? Do she really think that Samsung priced it at 1,000 to 1 up Apple iPhone X from last year?. I dont get how people dont question the iPhone outrageous prices when they first launch. I bet if the new iPhone is 1,400 people like her wouldn't even think twice about paying that money. AND WE ALL KNOW APPLE IS GOING TO COME OUT WITH BASICALLY THE SAME PHONE WITH SAME SPECS JUST ON A BIGGER SCREEN? While Samsung consistently adds new features and technology. Let's see which company get the in screen display fingerprint sensor first.😁

How is the camera a con?! Just because it's present on the s9 plus doesn't mean anything, it is still one of the best mobile phone cameras on the market.

Whats with the low key shade, it's obvious this woman is a iPhone fan. She disses the pen, saying most will forget about it, even though most that buy this phone buy it for the sPen. There is no better way to get perfect screen grabs instantly, write notes, and now use it as a remote for pictures, and whatever ever else gets added in the future. And again dissing the memory, by saying get another phone with less internal, but with a card slot. Even thought external memory is slower, and 90% of phones don't give you the ability to add memory. And legitimate 5G is probably 2 to 3 years away anyway to be worth using.
