fiction became reality, from the Gundam anime series to this….. SIDE from Universal Century Gundam = O'Neill "Island 3" type colony cylinders, Stanford "Island 2" type layout for Space Colonies from Gundam Wing, Productive Location Ally on Nexus Technology or PLANT from Gundam SEED, Bernal Sphere-type colony for Gundam 00, what else did we miss.

We humans are not human just because of our DNA 🧬 no. We are mortal and human because we come from the planet 🌎 Earth 🌏‼️ Once we leave this planet’s many influences and our place in the Sun 🌞 we start to become something else…! As it is now we merely tolerate each other…💀 come back here, to Earth with even a tan and you face bitter hate, subjugation, annihilation, and that is on a good day. The rest of the Universe is chanting it already: ‘ BUILD THAT WALL! BUILD THAT WALL!!’‼️😔

Good luck being naive. Humans have evolved for centuries in this habitat and are bound to it. There is no easy shortcut to survive without evolving to adapt to new habitat first. It takes time human race would never have trying to abandon this planet for another habitat. Once you destroy it, game over. As simple as that. Amazing how difficult it is to humans to accept basic laws of biology. You are not able to travel in space since you are not a virus or one cell simple organism. You are not immortal without harming yourself and you might never will be this way just because you are not hydra, you have to sexes at least to have natural offspring (any gender realted ideological quarell aside, we simply mean about how biological not supported by medicine reproduction system have evolved), yes, you are highly intelligent but this doesn't mean that other forms of intelligence you cannot cmmunicate with like whales or crows or cats are around you. There is however a difference because centuries ago this habitat has favoured your evolution for a while and you took advantage of it. It's not going to last forever and it may very well shift in favour of any other biological creature from this habitat. So maybe enjoy your 5 minutes humankind and be grateful instead of turning on your own with fancy toys and trying to speed up infavorable changes in your own habitat which might happen even without your own contribution. Your carbon dioxide footprint matters, but so does matter any volcanic eruption and ozon layer really doesn't know any ideology and will shrink, what is harmful to you ,in reaction to gases from both sources. Yes, keep dreaming about escape to outerspace. There is recent research into something that doesn't fascinate humans as nearly as making bombs or building tech, and it's research into how human brain handles being into outer space for a longer time. And results are not so promising. So maybe before dreaming big on this you do ask yourself do you still have time to research how you will be able to keep your own brain alive once you get there. And yes, I've almost forgotten there is a link between this question an human interest in uranium. But before humankind gets there maybe it will simply extinguish itself out of fascination with using uranium simply for making self-destructive fancy toys. Once first truely AI becomes self-aware I wonder for how long it will laugh at the concept that humans doing all those things they have been doing really wanted to believe in their own rationality, in being logical and spending their time, money and tools available to keep themselves busy with right things. But yes, let's escape to outer space so that some very non advanced single cell organism could kill you also due to low immunity and brain unable to sustain your life due to prolonged stay in a habitat it doesn't evolved to handle. Good night and good luck

If we can't terraform the earth what makes people think we can do it to another planet? Answer? Ego lol

Claire, you too funny! 🙂 The key to space exploration is to find those worm holes that can transport us gazillions of miles and days forward and reverse. Forward is probably better.
