The company makes some great products, but sometimes it looks like Apple’s just out to make a quick buck.

This video was stupid. Apple was built off advertising to the business/professional market. They became a brand status symbol for their innovative technology. They're an iconic brand now & you pay extra for it because you know you're getting great technology. It wasn't until this past decade or so they really became more friendly to the average consumer. You may call this list cash grabs, but for who? Most people are just buying the 64GB iPhones & there is no 128GB option, so guess who's buying an iPhone 256GB….not average people. And 99.9% of people who own a 256GB iPhone also have a laptop with…lots of storage to backup their iPhone & trust me, if you're going over 256GB storage on your iPhone, you're pretty insane. My point here being is that this list is mocking a known brand for being expensive, for being expensive. Apple has been getting criticized a lot lately for it's "Pro" products not being up to par with pro-level workloads. The pro-level market is fairly niche & those consumers were begging for better tech. They knew they'd be paying for it too, but didn't care, so Apple delivered. For the stand mocking, I get it, but Apple needs to make their money upfront for that R&D put into making those niche pro products. And many pros I know have stands & vesa mounts already for such a display, so the stand is a non factor.

Apple is the Prada of electronic devices. They made gadgets a fashion statement. I don’t mind paying premium for good design and durable products, (I love macbooks and ipads) but ever since Jobs died, some of their decisions just don’t seem to make sense. A single port for macbook, those sucky butterfly keyboard switches, the first gen ipad pencil charging mechanic, placing old processors on macbooks, putting overkill processors on the ipad pros.(looking forward to the new ipad os though). They should just have bundled the stand with the monitor and priced them together IMHO.

Yeah, complaints, complaints, complaints?! But you're still using Apple products!!! It's one way of saying, "Hey Apple, please be nice to your loyal fan base. You're ripping our pockets!!!."

Knows he's being stolen and still shows his laptop setup with all the dongles, do apple users know they're stupid or they just don't care they are?

Is ok to sell a “pro stand “ for $999 usd. If it is truly pro. After all, pro need their customer know there are using sth pro, even just a stand.

However, is this a “pro” stand ? I wonder ? Does it offer sth others then holding a display ?

To me, at least if user are using this stand, it offer a docking area, power and th3 cable can pick in the base but not then back of this display. Special the display can turn 90 degree , who know if the cable if pull any things?

I could care less how much Apple charges the sheep for their products, I am a smart consumer and will not buy overpriced tech.

What bothers me is that other manufacturers see this and use it as a model to make more money and then the consumer is stock. Look at what they did to the headphone jack.

At this point it wouldn't be surprising if Apple made a hyper car (à la veyron) for a quarter of the price and mustang, corola, Civic, Hyundai, tuktuk, rickshaw… customers go online to complain about the price.

“Cash Grab” = I don’t want it/don’t have the money for it

Welcome to capitalism. They manufacture things that people choose willingly to purchase, and make a lot of money doing so. If you don’t think it’s worth the money they charge, don’t buy it. But please spare us your whines as you try to shame a company for making money legitimately.

While I'll agree with iPod changing the music scene, the rest that you said is just Apple Fanboy nonsense. The iPhone did NOT change phones. . .they spend so much of their time biting off of Android. They just came out with the swipe keyboard and I bet all of you guys think that's innovation. Whereas Android has had it for YEARS! Android had "dark mode" well before Apple, but everyone is giving Apple props for it? the iPad succeeding where others haven't? Oh please! I swear to Gawd! Apple can bite off of other products and they will always be known for pioneering some isht. Last but not least. . . all of you reviewers went on and on and on about how Apple was first to bring a $1,000 phone to market. . .when in reality. . .Samsung did it. . with their Note 8 and was VERY successful in selling the unit.
