These cars should not be allowed on public roads…way too many variables. iRobot fears are now exposed in all their gory details. Stop this auto everything madness now.

I wish people would understand that self drive cars are so dumb. They miss things, cannot think, have no instincts, intelligence is on the level of a earthworm, collect less data than a human can, and worse of all are programmed to make ethical decisions by a small number of flawed humans in a room somewhere. Many people are quite happy about these cars. I just wish you understood how they work and how flawed they are.

She had probably found a bitcoin in the middle of the road so she was stooping down there to pick it up while the car couldn't see her.

If the car hit her she must have jaywalked close to where the car was. This is 100% her fault. The incident is sad regardless, but that doesn't change that it is the pedestrians fault for not looking both ways before crossing

zero sympathy for anyone involved.. not for people that use that service, that technology, or people that think cycling is a culture and a God given right to walk in front of cars, daring them to hit them and holding their hands out to stop a vehicle bearing down on them like they're invincible. I drive for a living and experience that every single day that I drive. STUPIDITY, IGNORANCE, ARROGANCE AND PRIVILEGE ARE THE ATTITUDES AND AFFLICTIONS THESE PEOPLE CARRY WITH THEM AND DUMP ON THE REST OF US. I make no apologies for this opinion, and don't give a damn what any of you think about it because it's not just your lives you risk in that insane game of chicken. It's mine and other peoples as well. IF you have a death wish, go draw a bath and take a toaster with you. Leave the rest of us alone.

Self-driving cars are idiotic. Take a train, or a bus, or a taxi with a good ol' Pakistani driver.

Whether she did j walk or not. It is highly possible that this incident wouldn't have occurred with a human 100% behind the wheels. A lot of people j walk. Technology should be blamed more than the person j walking here
