Nintendo just announced the new Switch Lite. The $200 handheld-only Switch arrives Sept. 20, but we got to play one. It’s missing some key features from the original, but also has a few improvements. We explain everything you need to know about Nintendo’s newest handheld.

    Sounds perfect for me. I don't own a TV and the original Switch was a tad too expensive for me, so this solves both problems. I'd definitely get that.

    I mean if they were going to remove the detachable joy cons then they automatically HAD to take out the tv aspect.i mean when on the tv mode you cant connect the joy cons to the switch and play so it was a tough decision made having the fact the switch in Nintendo switch means from handheld mode switching to tv.

    Kind of sucks it dosent have some sort of kick stand, if other controllers are usually…third party hardwear makers will make something happen though I have faith

    What if you break the controllers? The Joy-Cons have a tendency to break after 6 – 9 months. (For me at least)

    I have a good idea, they could make the nintendo switch lite into a sort of thing like a Wii U gamepad. Like if you agree

    Switch Lite (Gamepad) + Switch Standard (Console) = Nintendo Wii U
    Nintendo secret project for connectivity between all switch in the same house.

    People keep on saying bad things about the light but it is the lite version the original is still there stop bitching on it

    This which lasts about 3 hours even though they claim it lasts about 7 and the switch light is meant to last 10

    Hey, if I broke my normal switch, this is what my replacement would be, but I prefer the og switch, and with a special joy con I can have a good d pad on the og switch
